Be Aware of the Right of Way

If you choose to take off on one of these exhilarating trails through the White Mountains, keep in mind that for everyone’s safety bicyclists must yield to both horseback riders and hikers.

This means that if you meet a fellow adventurer on horseback or just enjoying a hike, you need to pull to the side of the trail and stop until they have completely passed.

In order to ensure that you enjoy your ride to the fullest, dress for the weather and don’t forget to bring:

  • Helmet (this is an absolute must)
  • Riding gloves
  • Water
  • Sunscreen
  • Tool kit
  • Extra tire tube and pump
  • First aid kit
